DATA SOURCES
Data Sources & Attribution
EmojiCopy combines standardized emoji data with search-oriented aliases so people can find emoji by official names and common search terms.
Unicode Emoji 18.0
The emoji repertoire and standardized names are derived from Unicode Emoji 18.0 data. The project vendors the Unicode emoji-test snapshot used by the build.
Unicode CLDR
English names and annotation keywords are derived from Unicode CLDR annotation data.
Emojilib
Additional human-friendly English search aliases are derived from Emojilib, which is distributed under the MIT License.
Project aliases
Project-maintained common names, misnames, and colloquial search terms are stored in data/manual-aliases.json. Typographical mistakes are additionally handled algorithmically at search time.
This page summarizes the source/provenance information used by the current build; it does not replace the upstream projects' own terms or notices.
